Daniel P. Sarrett DREI CDEI
Daniel P. Sarrett, DREI, CDEI B.S. M.B.A. from NIU and C.A.S.Georgia Tech, He has over 25 years of education, training and brokerage experience within the real estate industry. He was the former president of Chicago-based Real Estate Education Company, a large real estate school offering pre-licensing, continuing education and sales training courses to the real estate industry.
He has been an instructor for real estate classes,as well as online real estate classes and has authored a variety of real estate books, learning applications. He is is the author and developer of the REEC STUDENT SUPPORT Site, exclusively designed learning management system for on line real estate students.
Mr. Sarrett’s previous positions also include vice president of marketing for Realtors National Marketing Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), offering the CCIM, CRS and CRB designations.
Prior to RNMI he was regional vice president of Rich Port Realtors’ north division overseeing its 10 residential and one commercial brokerage offices, with over 450 sales people. He has written numerous books, training manuals and articles on topics on residential and commercial brokerage. He has recruited , trained and managed residential and commercial real estate salespersons and has participated in residential and commercial sales and leasing transactions.
Mr. Sarrett is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association, and the Association of Illinois Real Estate Educators. He holds an Illinois Managing Brokers' License.
CDEI -He is a recipient of the Certified Distance Education Instructor designation, awarded by the International Distance Education Certification Center.
DREI - He was the first Illinois recipient of the Distinguished Real Estate Instructors Designation (DREI) by the Real Estate Educators Association. This designation recognizes excellence among real estate instructors. It is awarded only to those REEA members who demonstrate outstanding knowledge of their profession, experience, and classroom performance.
